What is this?
The 1 million Stars to End Violence campaign is a worldwide project that aims to bring people together to weave stars as an expression of support for ending all forms of violence.
By coming to our weave party, you will be joining us in supporting Maroondah City Council’s commitment to be part of the weave 100 communities, where 100 members commit to weaving 100,000 stars each.
All Maroondah stars will be used to form part of an exhibition at Realm in November.
These stars will then be sent to Brisbane in early 2017 to be part of a giant installation on display as part of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Arts and Cultural Program!
We hope you come!
